Moving blogs.
Hello everyone, I've decided to switch blog hosting sites from blogger, to Wordpress.com . The reason, blogger doesn't allow for me to upload HD video unless its done through youtube. Also, blogger doesn't allow for me to blog on the go! I can't blog from my phone, and that makes things difficult because most of my online chorus are done through my iphone. I have high hopes and great plans for wordpress. I plan on using it as an actual website and a homebase for my photography, cinematography , travel, ocean, and school. Once I get some money together, I'm going to purchase a domain name, and finalize the website customization. I wish for all of you to switch over and continue to stay connected with my blog. I will post news of my recent travels to Shanghai on wordpress soon.
Once I finalize the website, the blogspot blog will be shut down, so please update your bookmarks soon! Thanks guys .

Pics from New York, I had the time of my life and got to experience more than I possibly imagined I could in the time allotted. Experiencing the architecture in New york was definitely an eye opener and an indulging experience. The blend between the classical, modern, and new age of architecture is really an atmosphere that I'm not used to seeing, and I've grown to love. I loved the density, diversity, and amazing food. The skyline of the Manhattan stands out far from that of the skyline in Honolulu. I hope to return to the big city soon!!!

New Project _
It has been an ambition of
mine for some time now to put together my own carbon fiber fins for
spearfishing that will be superior to the mass of fins currently available on
the market. Buying carbon fins from a retail store can be misleading in the sense that you don't
always know if you're getting a pure carbon fiber fin. Many brands often
put layers on fiberglass in fins that they market as "carbon fiber"
fins. I use Pierre Van Eecke fins made in Europe. To my
knowledge the fins are made of 100% carbon fiber. They have served me very well
and they continue to do so.
I brought my desire
to create carbon fiber diving fins to Kamanu Composites, and they have been supportive and helpful to me in my goal to create fins that will eventually be
marketed through Kamanu as locally produced, carbon fiber freediving fins.
The R&D work to the fin has begun, a sample fin has been made, and I am working on a template
in which I will use to cut the sample from.
I’ve been having a bit of
trouble, getting the template to be symmetrical. I ended up folding the paper
template along the length wise axis (y-axis) and then cutting it, so that both
sides will be identical reflections of each other.

drawing a couple of possibilities for the template. |

Blog Recommendation- Dive Gear
It has been nearly 4 years now since I have started spearfishing, and i'd say i've come across my fair share of fish. Through the development of this lifestyle and sport, I have had the chance to try an array of diving gear, mainly speaking spear guns and threeprongs. I am at the point
where I am comfortable with the gear I have as I
have selectively chosen the very best, for the style of
spearfishing I perform. And I wish to share my knowledge and experiences with others to help you all on your own journeys in the ocean.
Spear gun-
Firm response, that I choose Hammerhead Spear
guns, specifically the Evolution2. For those of you whom are familiar
with the older model of evolution, the E2 is a step up and improved speargun.
The trigger mechanism has improved and works better, the overall band length
has increased a whole gun size(more punch), and the overall gun is lighter and the new look
is particularly aesthetically pleasing. The guns are also affordable and are
fairly easy to obtain as you can purchase them online or locate them at
majority of spearfishing shops. I shoot a 90cm, 110cm, and 120cm E2. What can I
say, they get the job done.
Pole spear-
If you’re new to diving or a veteran at the lifestyle I recommend
you give these two brands a try. It’s a nice addition to the quiver and the
spears will serve you well.
